Freelance International Mobility Expert (ref: 26016)

Our client is a large international organisation active in the energy and infrastructure sector, operating on a global scale. 

YOUR ROLE

As an International Mobility Expert, you are responsible for compliance, governance and operational execution of international assignments and cross-border work situations worldwide. You act as a key partner to internal stakeholders and assignees, ensuring compliant, cost-effective and high-quality mobility solutions.

Your responsibilities include:

• Managing compliance for international assignments in line with social, legal and tax regulations

• Advising on contractual set-ups for new international assignments

• Coordinating international assignments end-to-end (immigration, relocation, payroll, tax)

• Acting as the main point of contact for assignees and payroll agencies

• Preparing and reviewing cost calculations and supporting commercial bids

• Partnering with HR, finance, legal and tax stakeholders to solve complex mobility cases

• Coordinating performance cycles for international assignees

• Monitoring regulatory changes and contributing to continuous improvement of mobility policies

• Managing external mobility service providers and handling escalations

YOUR PROFILE

• You have strong experience in international mobility and/or compensation & benefits

• You possess solid knowledge of international taxation and global compensation practices

• You have advanced Excel skills (pivot tables) and strong analytical mindset

• You are customer-oriented, proactive and solution-driven

• You possess good communication skills in English and Dutch

• You have prior experience in international mobility management of compensation & benefits in a large multinational or in one of the major consultancy firms
