Freelance strategic HR Consultant (ref: 26015)

ORGANISATION

Our client is a Brussels-based, mission-driven European organisation operating in a highly specialised policy and regulation environment. 

YOUR ROLE

As an HR Consultant, you play a key role in professionalising and structuring the HR function. Acting both as a strategic advisor and a hands-on expert, you establish a professional, coherent, and legally secure HR function with a strong focus on capacity-building within the organisation.

Your responsibilities include:

• Designing and implementing HR policies, processes, and tools in different HR domains adapted to the organisation’s size, mission and governance
• Advising senior management on HR-related topics and acting as their strategic sparring partner 
• Structuring performance management frameworks and supporting people leaders in their application
• Identifying learning and development needs, structuring a training policy and ensuring knowledge transfer
• Supporting internal communication and strengthening a professional, collaborative and mission-driven culture
• Allocating HR responsibilities to the staf and/or to a dedicated HR specialist at the end of this mission.

YOUR PROFILE

• You have solid experience as a senior HR professional 
• You have a strong ability to bring structure and clarity in growing or evolving organisations
• You are comfortable operating at both strategic and operational level
• You possess strong stakeholder management skills and advisory mindset
• You are a strategic thinker with a pragmatic, hands-on and autonomous working style 
• You have experience in mission-driven, academic or policy-oriented environments is an asset
• You speak fluently English
