ORGANISATION

A growing SME group in the transport and logistics sector, with operations in several European countries.

YOUR ROLE

  • You review employee remuneration and benefits packages across the group’s different entities.
  • You benchmark compensation and benefits against relevant sector practices.
  • You map functions and reporting lines in an organisational chart, assess job levels and develop appropriate salary scales.
  • You analyse remuneration differences between employees in comparable roles and recommend adjustments, taking responsibilities, seniority and applicable sectoral requirements into account.
  • You develop a consistent compensation and benefits policy, including potential bonus arrangements and opportunities for harmonisation across entities and countries, while respecting local legislation.
  • You support management in putting the agreed policy into practice.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Your expertise covers employee benefits, salary benchmarking, job evaluation and salary structures.
  • You have strong knowledge of Belgian joint committees and sectoral employment conditions.
  • You have managed compensation and benefits projects across several European countries.
  • You have compensation and benefits experience in the transport sector.
  • You have worked in an SME environment and understand its practical needs.  
  • You work independently and take a pragmatic approach, translating your analysis into clear recommendations and workable policies.
  • You are fluent in Dutch, French and English.

  • Location: West Flanders
  • Project duration: Short-term assignment, with scope and number of working days to be agreed.
