Freelance HR Director (ref: 26008)

ORGANISATION

Our client is a fast-growing health-tech organisation headquartered in Belgium, operating across the Benelux. 

YOUR ROLE

As Freelance HR Director, you act as a strategic partner to the CEO and leadership team. You are responsible for shaping the people strategy, organisational design and culture across all entities, supporting both growth and integration.

Your responsibilities include:

• Defining and executing the global people and talent strategy aligned with business growth

• Leading talent acquisition, succession planning and leadership development

• Driving culture, employee engagement and internal communication initiatives

• Owning performance management, learning & development and career frameworks

• Defining compensation & benefits strategy, including benchmarking and pay equity

• Overseeing HR operations, payroll and compliance across multiple countries

• Acting as a key advisor on organisational design, change management and post-merger integration

• Implementing and optimising HR systems and people analytics

• Coaching senior leaders and building a strong HR leadership team

YOUR PROFILE

• Relevant experience in senior HR leadership roles within international environments

• Proven track record in scaling organisations and leading transformation

• Strong expertise in talent strategy, organisational development and culture

• Experience in healthcare, pharma or life sciences is a strong asset

• Comfortable operating at C-level and Board level

• Strategic, people-oriented and data-driven mindset

• Fluent in English and Dutch (French is a plus)
