ORGANISATION

Our client is a Brussels-based organisation operating within the public sector.

YOUR ROLE

As a Freelance HR Director, you take ownership of the strageic HR function and ensure stability, continuity and strategic alignment.
Your responsibilities include:

• People leadership of the HR team (10 HR Professionals) and ensuring clarity, structure and motivation during a transitional period

• Further shaping and rolling out the HR strategy in alignment with organisational priorities

• Acting as a strategic sparring partner to the senior leadership.

• Serving as a trusted adviser to the managers of the different departments, particularly on procedural and legal decision-making.

• Safeguarding compliance within the public sector context and ensuring HR governance.

• Strengthening collaboration, transparency and engagement within the HR team.
   

YOUR PROFILE

• You have strong experience as an HR Director and are able to step in immediately, operating with confidence and authority

• You combine strategic vision with operational decisiveness

• You act as a trusted partner for senior stakeholders and are confident in handling legal and procedural matters

• You are an experienced people leader, comfortable leading and guiding an established HR team

• You bring solid experience within the public sector and hold a relevant degree in Law or Human Resources or equivalent experience

• You communicate openly and transparently and demonstrate a people-centred leadership style.

• You are fluent in French (native level) or bilingual in French and Dutch.
