Freelance HR Consultant (ref: 26013)

ORGANISATION

The client is a renowned cultural institution with a rich history and a strong public mission. 

YOUR ROLE

As a Freelance HR Consultant, you will support the organisation with a focused and analytical HR assignment related to seniority and remuneration. You act as an independent expert, combining strong HR knowledge with a structured and pragmatic approach. Your responsibilities include:

• Analysing CVs of employees to assess potential anomalies in granted seniority.

• Comparing historical seniority decisions made under different recruitment periods and subsidy conditions.

• Identifying inconsistencies that may impact barème-based salary determination.

• Advising on compliant and transparent solutions, taking into account applicable social and labour legislation.

• Providing clear recommendations and a concrete plan of action aligned with wage transparency legislation and the Belgian wage norm.

• Delivering insights in a structured and understandable way to HR and management stakeholders.

YOUR PROFILE

• Proven experience within generalist HR roles (minimum 5 years).

• Demonstrable experience in assessing CVs and seniority-related anomalies (minimum 3 years).

• Strong knowledge of compensation & benefits, wage policy and remuneration frameworks.

• Solid understanding of Belgian social and labour law, including wage transparency and wage norm regulations.

• Higher education degree (Bachelor or Master) in HRM, social sciences or a related field.

• Comfortable working with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).

• Native or near-native Dutch proficiency (CEFR C2) is mandatory.

• Analytical, discreet and autonomous, with a pragmatic and solution-oriented mindset.
